Overview
The AccuMax Quantum VPC is a non-powered surface with Controlled Release technology designed to help prevent and treat pressure injuries.
Based on a published JWOCN Support Surface Algorithm, a continuous low-pressure (CLP) surface is suggested for patients with low to moderate risk of pressure injuries and slightly limited mobility.1
Features
- Controlled Release valve technology uses a system of intake and output valves to provide pressure redistribution whenever a patient moves or is repositioned
- No blower, pump, or power source is required
- Viscoelastic foam topper is designed to help create a custom body conforming surface that increases patient envelopment and comfort, helping to lower interface pressures
- Surfaces are multi-zoned and layered with varying Indentation Load
- Deflections (ILD) and densities
- Water and stain resistant top cover
